History:
Opening
in 1931 as B. H. Ragan Plumbing and Heating Company, Mr. Ragan began a business
that would see many changes and transformations to its present state as Ragan
Enterprises, Inc. Beginning as a small plumbing and heating company, it moved
into the arena of large mechanical contracting jobs with the takeover and name
change to Ragan Mechanical Contractors, Inc. by Waymon Ragan as President and
Charles Ragan as Vice- President in 1965. Working together for over twenty-two
years, the mechanical business grew with each brother specializing in different
areas of the mechanical field. With the addition of five sons between Waymon and
Charles, the brothers split in 1987 with the opening of Ragan Enterprises, Inc.
by Waymon Ragan and his son Wayne. At this time, REI began concentrating fully
on the commercial, industrial, institutional, and process piping market. Today,
REI is a respected mechanical contracting firm and continues to grow, building a
strong and honest business. The owners intend to use their more than seventy five
years experience in mechanical contracting to exceed the clients expectations in
all services provided.
